Re: Time Sheet Mar 1-5

Hi Marcy,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I wonder if the formatting/formulas may be getting changed as I convert to excel; I know there were some cells that weren't adding numbers right in the first couple spreadsheets I had sent to you, which we had talked about before too. I was using the =SUM() function to add all the totals together and was getting different results for the total sum (where I would add the totals from each day together and sum it all together on the last sheet). As for how I added each client's times up, I would use a =SUM( ) and then select each total for the day for that particular client to calculate it. (so it wasn't automated based on the client, I did that myself each day, so there is possibility for human error there, but I tried to check each day and make sure I didn't accidentally select cells that shouldn't have been selected).

Do you mind sending the file that I had sent to you initially back to me, so that I can compare it to the mac file I have on my computer? (and if you have noted it, which cells have incorrect totals in them?)

Thanks!

OK, Carolynn, I've reviewed your spread sheet, added the numbers three different ways and come up with 6.3 for 3D Global, 12.9 for Hamama and 1 hour for the Firm. That equals 20.2 hours. I've tried to figure out your spreadsheet forumlas and format and can't find the difference of 0.2 hours. I use Excell too but I keep way simply by using one sheet for each client rather than one sheet for each day. I don't want to change your format, in fact it might be what we end up using across the Firm, but can you help me figure out the cell formula that totals it all together? It's not right, nor are some of the totals on the pages as they are in time vice number formats. Thanks!
Marcy

Sorry about that, Marcy, I forgot to convert them into windows files; can you tell me if this works? Some of the formatting may be off from the conversion, but all the information should be there.

Hi Marcy,

I've attached my time sheet for last week. Haytham mentioned to me that I could expense things such as paper/toner/parking to the firm (I put expenses into the spreadsheet on the day I incurred the expenses). I am also attaching scanned copies of any receipts I have. If you need the hard copies, I can send these to you via regular mail. Please let me know (and please let me know if you need different/additional information).

Thank you,
