Training Opportunities

Training in Electronic Case Management will be held January 5-7, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ.  This workshop provides attendees with substantial hands-on instruction on how to organize and manage discovery and case materials in electronic form.  Participants  will learn basic and advanced features of three litigation support software programs: Adobe Acrobat Pro, ISYS, and Case Map/Time Map. Interested participants are required to complete a short skill set survey before their registration is finalized.  The litigation support software programs in this workshop are designed to work on Windows operating systems (as opposed to Mac).  If accepted, you must bring a laptop running Windows or a Mac laptop running a virtualized copy of Windows.  There is no registration fee for this seminar.  Registration is limited to 80 participants.

For information on the logistics of this training and how to register please contact Shemiah Schuler at Shemiah_Schuler@ao.uscourts.gov.

Locally-a training will be held at the Theodore Levin US Courthouse for those persons interested in participating in the court's pro bono prisoner rights program.
This training is free and will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
