| H, Here's the proposal on the rental property above Joe Theisman's we saw yesterday. It'll cost $6972/mo and go up 3% a year pm a 5-yr lease. I will say again that once you see it, you'll want to afford it, assuming we can't afford to buy something we like. Mortgage on the King Street property may run us between $5500 and $6000/mo (not to mention the whole "down payment" hurdle. Rental is quite a bit more space, though. King Street has 1858 sqft. Diagonal rental has 2231 sqft. One option is to rent, build capital and then buy elsewhere, even in DC. N Neal A.
