I think I just found a new lawyer, I emailed Marina Medvin tonight and she called me and we just spoke for about 45 minutes. Night and day difference from Eric Stone AND about half the price. Thanks for all your help. I know this is not your normal venue and I certainly don't mean to be high maintenance. However, this has been very stressful for me and very worrisome. Marina told me that no way should I lose my license. as opposed to Eric who said in the letter that I should plan on it. She is in the Alexandria court system regularly and knows the standard prosecutors quite well. She has already given me a plan of action to address which is what I had been asking for from Stone, Furlong and Drewniak for weeks. She also understands that my clearance is very important to me and she has worked these situations before with the prosecutors with people with much worse records. I don't understand people who can't call you when they say they will. She called me at 9:45pm after she saw an email from me. Kevin Duff responded back to me at 915pm... (I sent him an email telling him I wouldn't be appearing at the hearing.)

I understand that this is not something you typically handle and that is fine, if I need to get someone else please tell me what you think of both Marina Medvin and Sudeep Bose. Btw, neither you or Neal are listed and I do realize that these rating sites are suspect. I think I need a different lawyer, the ratings below about Eric support all of my experience which has been horrible at best.

6/26/08   1     1     1     1     1   He is never prepared. He tells you to come to his office last minute right before the hearing. He has nothing ready. He types half-professional documents in front of you while you are quietly sitting and waiting for him to finish typing. You wait for him for hours and important conversation is only 20 minutes long. You pay for the time when you are waiting for him, too. Nothing but wasting your time and money. <frown.gif>
