Re: Problem with syncdocs

How can I sync a file from one computer (desk top) to my laptop.

You should just copy it to your G Drive or "My Google Docs" folder. A minute later it should appear on the other computer.

And shouldn’t I be able to see the same G drive on all my computers since it is associated with my account.  I am very frustrated.  I have lost 2 days trying to recover thousands of legal files that syncdocs destroyed.

If the G Drive is already in use (say by a memory stick) then Syncdocs does not give it a letter. You can assign it another letter in the Preferences menu. How did it destroy your files? Files are backed up to the Original Backups folder, and to the Trash and Bin locally and on Google if you delete them.

Kind regards,
Mari
