Based on my review of the governing IRS regulation, I can expense certain things when it is a legitimate business expense. The intent behind my usage of the card in some instances where it is not a clear customer expense is to charge the card and reduce income that I take rather than submit receipts at the end of the year and have the firm cut a check.
