Is helping a niece's husband who's a twice deployed National Guard guy in WI with PTSD and having a bad time with the VA and his Guard unit. Contacted me via the wife of one of the pilots who used to be in Marcy's Ops Group at Offutt AFB. Anyway, while helping, it occurred to him that there are lots more Vets suffering from PTSD/TBI who may need help. He works from home because he was in a bad auto accident a couple of years back. Want to talk to us (while you're in town next month) about possibly becoming "Of Counsel" to us to help Vets. Not looking for pay, but is well connected in DC and may be able find funding for what he wants to do. Looking to us for visibility (website) and lower liability insurance rates if he's associated with an established firm. Talked with him and thought it may be a way to burnish our brand with helping Vets, including VA-type help. He also has quite a nice JAG resume. Might could help with other matters if requested.
