The Federal Rules appear to require disclosure of an expert's written report w/in 90 days of the date set for trial. We were previously advised that we should be ready for trial sometime in July/August (even though we have a hearing on a motion for summary judgment at the end of this month). Accordingly, I have sought concurrence from the other side to permit an expert disclosure regarding the first case. If we do not obtain concurrence we will have to Motion the Court for an Order permitting the same.

Generally I use receipt of the retainer [indicating your acceptance of my fee schedule] and a letter from you retaining me as a consult/expert witness as the basis for our business contract.
