Re: Wuterich Trial Dates

We talked about this last night and decided to tell them we could do Oct!  That's why I answered for us the way we did.  I say we stick with that.  Three possibilities:  We won't start in Oct anyway; we'll be done in time to make the wedding; or if we're not done, you go to the wedding and come back.  You know that I could do this trial alone, just like you could.  We can afford to have you leave and return.  The members need not know why, just that you won't be there.
No worries.  Let's press.

Hey Partner.
I cannot be in trial on October 24.  A very good friend is getting married
on the 23rd.  I am committed to being there.

Nick,
We'll be prepared with clear schedules to begin trial on 3 Oct 2011. We will
not be ready before that date. We can talk about you needing to go later.

Meridith, Gentlemen,

Based on the Military Judge's direction from our RCM 802 conference, I
would like to attempt to negotiate a trial date for the Wuterich case.  Can
you please provide us with a date that will work for the defense team.

Very respectfully,
Nick
