I think the best avenue would be for him to plead to a few of the assault charges, or at the very least have a very strong stip in relation to the hostile working environment spec. In other words, something that acknowledges she was not a willing participant at some point. The issue with the retirement grade endorsement I think has to be removed. I haven't re-engaged Ian since talking to MMFN Dull, but after my conversation with her, I think this deal is much more likely to move. Let me re-engage them before you go back to your client so you don't lose any cred. I told MMFN Dull once we had specifics on the deal I'd e-mail them to her for her final input. I think she's okay with it as long as he's admitting something.
