Haytham, Two issues have come up: 1) I just found out from DC for GySgt Kelton that Capt Kraics has contacted at least one Lt at TBS (1ndLt Karlstrom). She is obviously a witness in our case, too. I think that a mutual friend of Kelton/Lopez (a former DI and now a student at TBS) told Phil Stackhouse or Kelton about Kraics making the contact. I can contact Karlstrom now, or we can wait until we do our mass interviews and get the fuller picture. Either way, this may be an issue of witness tampering. 2) See the e-mail below from the OCS Adj/Legal Officer. I contacted her yesterday to clarify that she is not saying that we have to "get permission" to meet with our own clients. She said 'no', not 'permission', just accountability, etc. I informed her that I believe this could be a perceived issue of interfering with A/C relationship. But, I did notify her of the continuance for SSgt Lopez's trial dates and that I'll be talking to her soon about additional documents. I also informed her that my other client has a hearing next week. But, it appears ripe for abuse when Lt McKee wants to run the info for client meetings, etc. by SSgt Lopez's OIC who happens to be the chief witness against her. We are looking into a unified response to this matter since the entire office is involved. Do you have a position at present?
