The American Arab Professionals Network (AAPN) of the American Arab Chamber will be hosting the 6th Annual American Arab "Celebrating Success Banquet" on May 18, 2011. The "Celebrating Success" Banquet recognizes American-Arab professionals that serve as mentors and role models for other American-Arabs in the region. Five Professional individuals will be recognized as the American Arab Professional of the Year in the fields of Education, Finance, Legal, Medicine, Technology and Entrepreneurship.

Nominations are open to the public and will be accepted by the AAPN until Friday, April 22, 2011. Individuals who nominate a candidate are also welcome to attend the AAPN committee meeting on April 26 to explain in person why they feel their nominee is the American Arab of the Year in the industry they serve.
