The government denied the request for funded travel
to CAAF. I haven't seen the official denial correspondence yet. I
will talk to the other attorneys and figure out if there is anything that can
be done.

Ma'am, I spoke with Neal a few
weeks ago about going out to DC to be there for the oral arguments regarding
my appeal at CAAF. He said he thought it would be a good idea for me to be
there, but I'm not sure if he had talked to you yet about it. He told me you
(or your clerk) would be setting up my DTS request and would be issuing TAD
orders. I'm not sure if this is still the plan, so I just wanted to get in
touch with you since it's only a couple weeks away.
