RE: Case update-Friday?

Hmm, very interesting. Was that charged added at the Wing level?

I’m sure he’s very relieved. Will the sentencing hearing start tomorrow morning? And I know it’s still early, depending on what the panel decides, but any idea what will come for him in terms of his status as a judge advocate?

On Burge, I was just listening again to parts of the motions hearing testimony. (I heard her testimony on the Blosser meeting point, she didn’t really give you a direct answer but said it was ‘incidental’ and mentioned NCIS made aware we had set up a luncheon and “Capt. Blosser was not responding to his calls.”

A quick question: Did Captain Wacker fully complete his law school program, and has USD awarded him his JD?

And you mentioned something last week about an upcoming hearing; is that related to the Smith matter?

They came back with not guilty on all except 1 specification of conduct unbecoming for denying having sex with Brooder at the USD hearing. Stated another, way not guilty on any charge that Smith pursued. The charge he was found guilty on was not on the first charge sheet. It's simply about denying sex at the administrative hearing.

Also Burge testified and sati that Smith set up the Blosser meeting.

Haytham,

Hi, sorry to bother you, I realize it’s a busy evening for you with the case. I had to return to the office for other assignments, and I’m on deadline for our next issue and working on a story on the GCM and a sidebar on Smith and the motions hearing. Is the panel still in session or broke for the night? Any expectation about how tomorrow will go yet?

Sincerely, Gidget
