Col Huff,

Sir, there are a number of moving pieces involved in getting the accused in and out of the brig.  However, I checked with the unit and we can make this work on the government side.  Before we change the plans, I would like to ensure that the defense is ok with the change.  This is primarily because the defense team will be responsible for ensuring you can get into and out of the building and room we've identified for your evaluation.

Maj Marshall, et. al: please advise SOONEST if you can be available next weekend vice this weekend.  We need to inform the brig ASAP if plans are changing.

My boss, COL Mark Melanson is OK with me going, but he really prefers that I slip this by exactly one week.

 

Instead of flying out Thursday night, 3 Feb, I would come on Thursday night, 10 Feb.

 

I would depart San Diego late on 14 Feb (Monday), instead of Monday 7 Feb.

 

This would be exactly a one week delay.

 

Will this work?
