Ms. Fuentes,
I am curious as to why the "comments" were taken off of the article titled "Colonel Under Fire" in the latest edition of Marine Corps Times. Could you explain to me why a public forum is not being opened on this topic? It is a very serious matter that concerns my husband, Capt Douglas Wacker, and seems as though it would spark an interesting discussion as to how others may have been affected by Col Smith. Please let me know if anyone in the Marine Corps has persuaded you or your editor to remove comments. Also, do you plan to release this to the newswires (AP/UPI), so that the public outside of the Marine Corps can know about what is going on?
