Gentlemen, Below is what Sgt Trujillo came up with about him. He doesn't seem that useful. I will certainly interview him though. R/ Major Meridith L. Marshall Senior Defense Counsel MCAS, Miramar 858-577-1720 meridith.marshall@usmc.mil -----Original Message----- From: Trujillo Sgt Bethany N Sent: Friday, October 08, 2010 10:27 AM To: Marshall Maj Meridith L Subject: Crossan Ma'am, I reviewed Crossan's statements, he was the only Marine in the squad that had a laptop computer while on deployment that was left in Iraq when he was injured. When the computer was returned to him there were pictures from 19 November on his hard drive. He says that Wuterich, Salinas and Sharratt called him and asked for copies of the photographs from the deployment since everyone would download pictures from their digital cameras on to the laptop. He says that the Marines didn't ask specifically for pictures from 19 November, just pictures from the deployment. He also told NCIS that he feels that the Marines murdered innocent Iraqis that day and that if he hadn't been knocked out that day, none of this would have happened. He says that he was trained to positively identify targets as hostile before firing and that while it is acceptable to throw a frag grenade in a room, it is unacceptable to spray a room with a rifle. Most everything he has to say is going to be hearsay. So the only real reason I can see them calling him is to talk about the pictures that he found on his computer. He didn't testify at our 32 so I only have 2 NCIS statements that he provided in May 2006. Let me know if you need anything else. v/r Sgt Bethany Trujillo
