Please remove your monthly Detroit gym membership charge from the Firm's AMEX. You are receiving compensation in your paycheck once a month (and you received a lump sum in late July for the first half of the year). Subject: Gym Membership Benefit - $40 a month & Bookcase/Chair payment
Hey, forgot to ask you. When Nick joined the gym at the special deal of $40 a month, Neal decided everyone who had a membership to a gym could get $40 a month. Tax law requires that goes through Paychex to be identified as health benefit and deductible on the taxes. Right now Neal, Haytham and Nick are getting that benefit. I know Neal asked you about a gym and you said you may join one out in Haymarket. Did that happen so I can get that arranged with Paychex for you?
Additionally, I asked Neal if the Firm could pay the bookcases and chairs for tax purposes (deductions) and ownership. We then "work" off the total amount when you have reimbursables for the Firm or deal with it at the year "partnership" review meeting... Is this OK?
