Re: Wuterich trial

Luke,
The Wuterich trial has been delayed until 1 November 2010 due to serious injuries sustained by Mr. Mike Maloney, a key government forensic reconstruction witness.  So we have additional time to develop issues, cross examination questions and decide whether we'll need your testimony.
Thank you for your patience with us.

Mr. Haag,
Would like to check your schedule and availability for the Wuterich case, now set to begin on 15 Sep 2010.  The prosecution case will take at least a week.  Anticipating your testimony, if required, will be either late during the week of 20 Sep or early during the week of 27 Sep.  Please contact me either by email at this email address or by phone at 202-340-0069 (cell).  I am not at the office number below.
We will have to stay in close contact as the trial progresses. I have several probable trial and evidence inspection commitments around that time.

Would like to discuss what work you've done on the case, as well as your general opinions regarding the adequacy of the NCIS investigation regarding ballistics.
I will need to review my file on this case before I can talk meaningfully about my efforts in this case.
I will try to do that sometime this week.

Luke Haag
