Mozhdah Jamalzadah
is a new generation Afghan singer and model born in Kabul Afghanistan. Mozhdah
lives in Vancouver, Canada.
AW has brought to you this exclusive interview of her from Kabul,
Afghanistan. She studied Philosophy and Political Science at the University of
British Columbia. She has modelled for number of magazines such Fashion Week,
Cosmopolitan and Asian Woman. She emerged as a singer in 2007 and has done many
concerts around the world.

Mozhdah is currently living in Kabul where she has signed a one year
contract with channel '1TV' where she would host her own show called 'Mozhdah
Show' where she will have guests such as singers on every show to perform and
have a chat. She has also singed a contract in America to release her
next album in English.
On March 8 2010, she was invited to perform at White House, USA. She sang
her song 'Dukhtare Afghan' (Afghan Girl) in front of President Barack Obama and
First Lady Michelle Obama with 300 other special guests. She describes her
experience at the White House something that she will never forget. She says
'during my song I saw First Lady Michelle Obama holding my mother's hand, I
nearly forgot my lyrics'.
