Attorney Edward Wishnow

Hello, Haytham:

I hope all is well with you.  I see from Facebook you have been on some marvelous travels.  Pehaps one day I can pack some bags and join yah.

Hey, I have a question to ask.  I recall some time ago we chatted or emailed about that local spy case involving several Iraqi nationals.  An attorney named Edward Wishnow represents one of the defendants.  He was suggested as a referral for a family friend whose husband is looking at some serious drug charges so, naturally, they want to be sure he comes highly recommended and well qualified.  I see he is a veteran litigator in Michigan and is in good standing with the state bar and reviewed some appellate opinions in which he represented defendants before the Sixth Circuit.

This referral having to do with a major drug case, so far from what I have read about him, he handles just about every major federal crime from RICO, drug laws, etc., but I can't tell from the appellate opinions I've read on him how much experience he has defending drug cases.  We are interested in his trial strategy, which I am inclined to think its pretty awesome giving his closing arguments to the jury in the Sam Riddle bribery case recently that resulted in a hung jury - so, I have to think if he can get a hung jury, he's pretty good.  What do you think?

Do you have an opinion or not about his experience and expertise that he brings to the courtroom?  You can trust I will hold your opinon in confidence.  We just want to make sure the family is making an informed decision in retaining him.  Thanks, Haytham.
