Proposed Annual Dues Increase Notice
Pursuant to AAJ Bylaws, notice is hereby provided that the Board of Governors of the Association will have before it for approval at its meeting on July 15, 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia, a proposed annual dues increase for three classes of membership as follows:
- For attorneys in practice 15 years or more but less than 20 years, a proposed increase of $20; from $375 to $395.
- For attorneys in practice 20 years or more but less than 25 years, a proposed increase of $30; from $445 to $475.
- For attorneys in practice 25 years or more, a proposed increase of $30; from $495 to $525.
The proposed increase, if approved by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Governors present at the July meeting, will be effective beginning August 1, 2010. The Board may not approve an increase greater than the amounts provided under this Notice.
