DEARBORN ARAB INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
JUNE 18, 19 AND 20
The festival is a perfect setting to celebrate Father's Day Weekend as there is something for everyone. There are 30-international food booths including authentic Mediterranean delights such as shawarma sandwiches, shish kabob, hummous, fettoush salad and baklava. Other attractions include a large carnival with rides for all ages, interactive children's tent, live world music stage, artisan's tent, Arab merchandise, and a giant old-fashioned Ferris wheel over looking East Dearborn. The winner of the first annual International Idol contest will be performing to a live audience on Saturday night on the adult entertainment stage. "It is the most vibrant time of the year, said American Arab Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Fay Beydoun. Every year more and more people of all races and cultures are joining us in celebrating our rich heritage. It also adds an economic boost to the local economy. "
Festival Hours:
Friday- 4 p.m.- 10 p.m.
Saturday- 11 a.m.- 10 p.m.
Sunday- 11 a.m.- 9 p.m.
The festival is also produced in cooperation with the City of Dearborn and the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services.
