Ron, Will do. Signed the lease on the 1483 sqft property at 1800 Diagonal, Suite 210. Jeff and I will be neighbors. We need to stay in touch. Have a great weekend. Neal

thanks. glad you were able to get the larger accomodations.
Our door is always open to you if you ever need to revisit the space issue.
What about
following up on our discussion re adding a button (or language) on our websites
to generate cases?
I can send
you some copy for FTCA and PI cases and you can send me copy regarding the
cases you would most likely to pursue.
We have a
Military Law portion of our website I can grow. Eric mentioned some
compensation/benefit cases he would like to pursue and if he could send me the
lanaguage I can include it. Of course, before either of us inserted
the final copy, we would check with each other to be sure it is accurate.
Also, once
this is in place, we can discuss sharing fees along the lines we
discussed. The client's have to approve the relationship in
writing. There are probably many cases that each firm can simply refer to
the other without referral fees. For example, if the fee
generated is not substantial, a referral fee becomes an impediment.
However, on cases where the fee will be substantial, it makes sense to
collaborate.
Finally, I
like your idea of utilizing your litigation expertise, especially in Va courts
where we may need litigation help. As I indicated at lunch, that office is
really heating up and will generate lots of litigation. Best,
Ron
Ron and Jeff,
Really enjoyed catching up with you both yesterday. Turned out to
be less work and hassle to move to a larger office in the Executive Offices
we've got for Eric and Kenneth now. But we really appreciate your
willingness to accommodate.
We can definitely collaborate. If you ever need litigators, we
could beat up your trial guys without even working up a sweat. Not
because we're smarter, just because we've probably got ten times the
experience. So call us if you need a hand when things go to court.
;-)

Neal: Thanks
again for lunch. We can make a windowed office available for Eric by May
1st. I would have to move the person there to a
cubicle. (To make this happen I would have to get two portable
cubicles in place, one for our clerk and one for Eric's assistant).
You would have use
of the conf. room and our copy machines, etc. at 5 cents a
page. We could then take a deep breath and see if more space for
you is viable, but at least you would be covered by May 1st.
We thought a monthly rental of $1000 would be fair (the other tenant with a
larger office is paying $1500). Let me have your
thoughts.
I am going out of
town tomorrow at noon and will be back on Monday afternoon. If you want
to do this, let me know so that we can make arrangements to get the cubicles
in place. In any event, regardless of the space situation, we should
actively move to collaborating on cases. Best, Ron
