Re: A website comment from Rick Collier Jr

You are right.  We collect $150 and THEN we give them a consult.  Only exception is a military justice case (court-martial, Art 32, etc.)

Would appreciate better coordination on this.  I sent him the below Email and you told him no.  It could be that Eric has another approach to help, maybe not a discharge upgrade, but he's been telling me of other ways he has helped people in situations like this.  I'm just saying I don't have time to waste crafting these Emails or telling people this on the phone, if we don't have coordinated effort to get clients... And I'm blind copying Eric on these.  So I'll forward this to reply by Mr. Collier to him.

If we are adopting the $150 to consult deal, then let them pay for it before you tell them NO... Or what is the point gentlemen?  Sorry, I'm venting ... M

Mr. Collier, Thank you for your service to our country.  We appreciate you contacting the Law Firm of Puckett & Faraj, PC regarding a discharge upgrade.  We can assist you with that issue. Mr. Montalvo, our expert on discharge upgrades can conduct an hour consultation and discuss your case details with you for a fee of $150.00 which is half of his normal hourly rate.  He will listen to your situation, evaluate the merits of your case and give you a recommendation on what to do next.  If you wish to do this, we require the $150.00 before we can schedule a consult with Mr. Montalvo.  We accept credit cards via phone, or wire transfer bank-to-bank (information on request) or you can mail a check.  Once the mailed check clears the bank, we can set up a day and time to talk over your situation with our expert.   Additionally, the $150 is applied to any further work we do for you.  If this is within your budget, and you'd like to set up a consult with Mr. Montalvo, we would ask for the payment and a copy of all of your documents so Mr. Montalvo can review them prior to a telephone (or in-person) consult.

Make Check payable to "The Law Firm of Puckett & Faraj, PC" and mail it to The Law Firm of Puckett & Faraj, PC 2181 Jamieson Ave Suite 1505, Alexandria, VA 22314.  For a credit card charge, give me a call at 202-379-2829, Ext 3 or toll free 888-970-0005, ext 3 between 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday Eastern time.  If these times are not convenient for you, just Email me a better time to call, and we can set up a call outside of work hours.

Thank You,
Marcy
