Re: U.S. v. Wuterich delay

Agree.  I'll just let him know we're still discussing it and won't have an answer until next week.

Would you like for me to get him in for a meeting so that you can meet him and ask more questions?  If so, we should pick a day and time.

I owe (COL) Gary Bowman a reply on whether we want to do the 90-day test of his use of our platform and offices as a way to leverage the Bankruptcy market in Northern VA.  Should we talk that through a bit more?

David,
Apologies for my tardy response.  I have identified three Marines who are CQB experts that I believe you will find very helpful.  They are all members of the Marine Corps Special Operations Battalion which you may know as force reconnaissance.  They are all CQB instructors and are the best in the business.  They are

SSgt Perry and GySgt Albertson are on the range doing a shooting package.  I recommend you begin with Sgt Wilson.  I cc’d him on this email. He can also put you in touch with SSgt Perry and GySgt Albertson.

Cheers,

Thanks Neal, that’s great news.

Haytham, perhaps it would be best if I give you a call.  Could you let me know a number and time that best suits you?

Hi Neal

Thanks very much for letting me know.  My trial will be starting very soon after that so I may only be able to come along for the first week.

Haytham, if you have someone in mind who might be prepared to meet me, I’d be very happy to come over to the US to make that happen.  If I could write my own ideal character, it would be a senior NCO, CQB instructor, with substantial combat experience including opposed room entry.  I’d be very grateful for any advice you could offer.

Good evening, David,
The Wuterich case has been continued once again.  The new start date is 27 June 2011.  The reason for the delay is the ongoing appellate litigation concerning our client's right to his originally detailed military defense counsel who retired during the pendency of appellate litigation on another issue.  Oral arguments are set for 30 March.  Given the uncertainty as to the length of time our highest military appeals court may take to rule on the issue, both parties agreed to push back the date of trial.  I'll continue to keep you informed.
Did my partner, Haytham, hook you up with a CQB expert?
V/r,
Neal
