Sir, I've spoken with Maj Scarselli, and I know he opposes any continuances because of how long this case has impacted his life (since August 2009). That the government needs to find enough LtCol's for a panel is compelling, however this is something that has been on their radar since we did an arraignment back on 7 January 2010. Further, the needed LtCol ranks are likely available at any of the other several bases in Southern California. As such, the continuance should be denied. Christian P.
