Lebanese Superstar Assi Hellani Performs at Ann Arbor's Hill Auditorium
The University Musical Society presents Lebanese superstar singer Assi Helani in concert at Ann Arbor's Hill Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 6. Hellani will be honored with the University of Michigan's King-Chavez -Parks Visiting Professorship. Tickets are just $10 to $60 with a limited number of VIP seats available.

ADC Michigan Civil Rights Festival at Wayne State University
The Fred T. Korematsu Institute for Civil Rights and Education, in coordination with ADC Michigan, the Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights at WSU, and the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute will hold the first-ever "RightsFest," a one-day, pan-ethnic, civil rights film festival.

Lebanese American Pianist Waleed Howrani Performance
Internationally acclaimed local pianist and composer Waleed Howarni will perform in Ann Arbor. Howarni's performance will feature Beethoven, Chopin, Cordoba, and the world premiere of Howrani's second set of his Suite Geriatrics, and his latest composition "To Bach and Beyond," a work based on a theme by Ziad Rahbani that will encompass styles from Bach to boogie-woogie.
