It has only taken two months, but I
finally received my one and only Mt.
Everest summit
photo. I’m not sure the wait was really worth it as we summated at
dawn and although Kaji’s $12 instamatic camera worked in -40degree
temperatures (see the 6 inch long icicle frozen to our oxygen masks), the flash
did not allow for an accurate reflection of the view we had from the
summit. Nonetheless, I thought you might like to see what the Mt. Everest
summit looks like in the pitch black…
