That also means that itâs time, once again, for the City Clubâs First Thursday, Jazz Night Experience, sponsored by the City Club of Washington, in conjunction with the SHORTCAKE Entertainment Group.
While I wonât be there with you, this month (Iâm traveling for DHS & missing my first Jazz Night Experience ever!); Iâm still excited, because this Thursday, we have a ânewâ Artist with the SHORTCAKE Entertainment Group family! This Thursday, April 7th, 2011, we will welcome the soulful artist, known as âAMIJâ (please see attached), to the City Club of Washington, which is located at; 555 13th Street, NW (The Columbia Square Building), right next door to the Warner Theater. If youâve yet to hear âAMIJâ - well, neither have I; but my partner, Mr. Emmett Roberts (CEO of the SHORTCAKE Entertainment Group) âonlyâ associates us with the very best in entertainment! After that the crowd moves into the City Clubâs main dining room, for the Artist of the evening â between 7:00PM & 7:30PM. As usual Red & White wine will be flowing & Chef Reid will have a Tapas Display that rocks! The cost is $25.00 per person & credit cards & PayPal over the internet, are acceptable. No cash please!
