That's a great attitude. Remember that the burden is really high.
Although they didn't find him guilty, the long term forfeiture is
curious. I've never seen it run that long. This indicates that they
didn't quite buy his story but that they also weren't convinced beyond
a reasonable doubt of his guilt. I don't know about the statute of
limitations. It should run about 2 years. I'll check. Call me tomorrow
for other options of things you may want to consider.

I'm hanging in there. I keep reminding myself that it wasn't Barnes
vs. Donegan, but this entire process over the past year has been
beyond emotionally draining. After the verdict, Wade and I walked
out of there with our heads up just as we did when we first entered
the courthouse. I also know that there was nothing more I could do
that would have affected the verdict.
