Haytham,
I just spoke with the lady that sued the University of Arizona (long story). They have requested a new hearing and the judge agreed. She has changed attorneys and they going State, then Federal for OPM.
More importantly, she is will to share their discovery with us. She has depositions from the OPM Recovery Agents stating that they don't question or interrupt their investigations; they just report what they're told. She also has an OPM Recovery Agent on the witness stand refusing to answer questions about their investigations.
She is going to check and see if she can share the pertinent depositions with us. Below is her telling me about her complaint to Congresswoman Gifford's office.
Kathy Dillaman, whom she refers, to was the Director, OPM-FISD. She has retired from federal service but is now the adviser to the new OPM Director - John Berry. Many are questioning how she can obtain a "limited-term appointment as Senior Policy Advisor" to the OPM Director (violation of the Federal Acquisition Regulation).
I'll keep you posted.

Subject: Hi
Hello Carolyn!
How goes everything?
I just spoke to a staffer at Gabby Giffords' office regarding my request for a congressional inquiry regarding my removal from the OPM contract. OPM told them on 8/31/11 that they had sent my case to an investigative agency and requested Giffords' office give them until 9/9/11 before making further inquiries.
The staffer said they called OPM/FISD last week around the 20th to inquire. OPM requested even more time. The staffer said dealing with them is challenging. (WE KNOW!) It will be interesting to see where this leads and if they take it seriously. I told Giffords' office that I have the depositions - taped and typed - of three of OPM's employees who were involved and I have transcripts from the trial, etc., PROVING that the OPM agent was lied to and that they used these lies as justification to remove me and that OPM has no clue but that I am willing to send them copies and to talk to a US Attorney if they are interested in pursuing justice and Title 18 Section 1001 claims. Since OPM is all about justice and integrity......right? I
I have read articles saying Dillaman intentionally delays inquiries. Is she still in charge or even there? Anyway, I get the impression you think this is a waste of time. (?)
Talk to you soon.
Janet
