RE: AMEX reconciliation

Got the rent check.  I’ll get the AMEX reconciled.  Glad to know that we paid off the line of credit.  With respect to the usage of the AMEX.  My usage of the AMEX always has a business nexus.  Based on my review of the governing IRS regulation, I can expense certain things when it is a legitimate business expense.  The intent behind my usage of the card in some instances where it is not a clear customer expense is to charge the card and reduce income that I take rather than submit receipts at the end of the year and have the firm cut a check.

Partner,

Don't forget to reconcile the AMEX charges Bethany sent.  That's a pain and requires way too much bookkeeping time.  Request that you treat it like a Gov't card and only use it for direct business expenses.  If we need to get you a personal AMEX Gold Card like I have, we can do that.

On a positive note, I was able to pay off the line of credit loan I agonized about dipping into last week.  Doesn't mean we won't have to use it again, but at least we now have established a rep for using it for short term flex, vice some financial survival mode.

Did you get the $1300 rent check finally?
