Haytham,

Hello. I hope you had a great trip to Idaho. Whatâs your schedule looking like in the coming days and next week to talk about the Card case?

Thanks,

Gidget

Waldhauser was the decision maker but I am fairly certain that there were some higher lever discussions on this case.  I will be in Dubois, Wyoming doing training at the trial lawyers college all of next week, Saturday to Saturday.  There is no cell phone service out there. I can do an interview this week or when I return on the 28th.

Haytham,

Thatâs great news for him; so Lt Gen Waldhauser made that decision from the IOâs report and recommendation, right?  I still have folks to track down for our story, but would he be open to an interview with me if possible at some point in the next week or the coming weeks? Thank you.

Sincerely,

Gidget

I was notified late last night that the Convening Authority has withdrawn and dismissed the charge and three specifications in the case of U.S. v. Card.  Maj Card is no longer charged with any offenses.  He expects to be reassigned soon.
