Dear Ibrahim, I hope you’re well. I am finally preparing my expense report for the Hamama trial. It took this long because the budget person was out sick until last week. Upon review of the receipts you sent, I noticed that the hotel charges appear to be on your credit card. Is that correct? I have the total amount that is reimbursable to you for the hotel as: $571.47 (we subtracted the food costs) You paid for the car rental and the airline ticket. The total for those two $1663.32 I have also tallied up the hours during the trial. I computed 1 hour travel to and from court everyday for 5 days (5); 4 hours in court everyday for 5 days (2); 16 hours total for air travel between Detroit and Monterrey; and 2 hours total for travel to and from the various airports. The total number of compensable hours I have so far are 43. I do not have any hours for you for any work that you did reviewing documents in outside of court during the trial. If you did any additional work that I did not account for, please let me know immediately. Also, please review the numbers and hours in this email and send me an email either acknowledging all is correct or correcting my math. I am going to have my office issue a check this week for $2234.79 for your reimbursable expenses. A check for your hours will be issued once you confirm the totals for me.
