Re: Iron Ore

Wael,
You requested information on the mine. I recognize that this is accessible to anyone. No Chinese companies are bidding on this. There is an Indian company and an Australian company. The email was for your benefit to understand the Afghani offer. If you feel a Chinese investor would be interested, then we can bring our Afghani partner to the table. The initial step, however, I'd determining whether there is an interested partner.

Dear Haytham,
What you sent me is just a simple tender document anyone could get.
I am pretty sure that some Chinese companies are already bidding for it.

To approach a Chinese group wouldn't be to our advantage, and here is why;
We don't know anyone about the "partner" in Afghanistan.
Why would the investor even trust us ? He could apply by himself,  we don't have any credentials, or any reference, we are not even present in Afghanistan...

Had the Afghani businessman made a presentation about himself, his activities, or even him applied for the tender with the certainty of getting the tender, then we would have had a competitive advantage.

With this simple tender offer, we can't do anything concrete. It's just a joke.

Here is a presentation I had from the Iron Ore mine in Brazil.

Feel free to comment,

Bro,

This submission is due 13 Sept.  My guy says if we get our hat in the ring he has the skids greased.  Costs nothing to put the nod in.  See if your crew is interested in doing so in order to get a place holder.  Let me know.
