Seems on the expensive side for a once a year publication. I
can ask a few of my friends in Recon if theyâre familiar with it and read it. From: Puckett Neal
[mailto:neal@puckettfaraj.com] Got a call yesterday from a guy selling ad space in the
annual pub distributed to the SpecWar community. Check out the proposal
and tell me what you think. He touts getting us in front of every spec
ops soldier in the community as the only law firm in the pub. Said he'd
need to know within a few weeks for this year's book, but we could wait until
next year, as well. N Neal A. Puckett, Esq LtCol, USMC (Ret) Puckett &

The Year in Special Operations
Neal, I
have been following the cases of Matthew McCabe & the other 2 SEALS that
were recently acquitted . My team produces 'The Year in Special Operations'
which for SOCOM each year. I have attached information regarding the project. 'The
Year in Special Operations' is distributed to all of the procurement &
acquisition officers within the spec ops community, as well as to Congress
& other high ranking DOD officials. However, it is also blankets all
special operation components such as AFSOC, MARSOC, NAVSPECWARCOM, and USASOC
& this is where I see the key benefit to you. You would literally get in
front of every spec ops soldier that is currently serving our country. In
light of recent events and how litigious our society is becoming I feel as if
it is important for our soldiers to know who can help them if they find
themselves in a legal battle resulting from actions occurring while serving
their country. With the work you have done regarding Abu Ghraib, Haditha
& most recently the McCabe case, I feel as if it is most appropriate to
come to you before approaching anyone else. I
would like to extend an invitation for Puckett & Faraj to be the only law
firm allowed to advertise within 'The Year in Special Operations'. The
publication debuts each year at SOFIC (special operations forces industry
conference) at central command on Macdill AFB in Tampa. We go to print on
Monday, so if you wanted to be included this year I would need to know quickly. If
you would like to be included I can secure you a full page advertisement in the
book for $9,950. I will also include a banner ad on www.yearinspecialoperations.com and
a company profile, that would give you the chance to tell the spec ops
community what it is you do. If you do not typically run print
advertising my team can assist you in the creation of your ad. Below
is a link to an online digital edition of last year's publication. http://issuu.com/faircountmedia/docs/yiso09 I
look forward to hearing back from you.
