Dear Mr. Thompson,

Pursuant to your letter dated May 20, 2011 (ENF 23477), Our office will be seeking licensing applications to unblock the vehicles seized by CBP under the “Kingpin Act.” As I discussed with you on Friday June 10, I am unavailable from June 11 to June 19 due a prior professional commitment. I, therefore, requested a few extra days to submit the license application to which you agreed. I anticipate completing the license applications for all seized vehicles by June 23, 2011. I request that you take no action on the vehicles until we have had an opportunity to take action as appropriate for their release. I will keep you informed of our actions and decisions. Your cooperation in this matter is very much appreciated.
