Hi Mariam,

I am attaching various documents that you should save on your computer and use as templates or to help you draft similar documents. Let’s meet today so we can discuss them.

I have attached:

1. A standard letter head form. You will this template for all correspondence

2. A Master witness list. This should actually be called a witness request. You will use this form to request witnesses in military cases.

3. A discovery request. This form is used to demand evidence from the government that it intends to use to prove its case. Under the law, the defense is entitled to find out what evidence the government will introduce at trial to prove its case but we also have to request it.

4. Affidavit. This s a standard affidavit that we will use to take the testimony of people.

5. Witness interview form. Often you will interview witnesses for me. I will want you to use this form so I can have their information and know what they say

6. The client intake template is a template you will use to interview clients

7. The final two forms are fee agreements. The Aoun fee agreement is what’s known as a “flat fee” agreement. The other one is contingency. It means that we don’t charge the client anything but we will collect if we win by taking a percentage of the winnings.
