Dear daughter,
Thanks for the anniversary card, it was a real "cutie".  And guess what, we don't normally read our E mail ever day plus have a tendency to "get out of the house" on a drop of the hat excuse so we  did not catch any of Neal's Fox appearances, but keep sending us his TV appearances cause we really enjoy seeing our famous son-in-law and we tell our friends and neighbors to be sure and tune in.
Everythiing is "cool" here at the Atwood Retirement Center with one exception, Marilyn's half sister, Irene, had a serious operation last Saturday and from what we are hearing, things do not look too good.  Marilyn has been jumping out of her chair about a foot everytime the phone rings.  Irene is 83 years old.
Life is good, we've filed our taxes and anticipate a return which will almost pay for the preparer's fee and will even pay off the last obligation on our new little Civic (32 to 39 MPG) 2009 Honda which we bought last July.  Our only "biggie" obligation to the world is our somewhat modest house mortage which overall effect helps with a decent night's sleep for us old limited income gummers.  EXCEPT, I wish you'de straighten out this damable goofy stock market, at least the ones we so wisely have selected. (that,s a joke)......
So much for the exciting things going on right here, in RIVER CITY.........
