German DUI
Drew,
It seems that you should be OK if the letter from the German Polizei
specifies the blood/alcohol level and your command understands the
scale they use isn't the same as that in the US. It may be that
there's a base or command regulation governing DUIs for commands based
in Germany which will provide guidance. But so long as you are old
enough to drive and your BAC was below the legal limit, they shouldn't
need to administer any kind of career-ending discipline. I'm sure
they know all of the local command policies and regulations so there
should be no further action required on your part.
