RE: FW: Gear list

Maigen,
Don't worry about contacting Maj Royce. SSgt Owsley (the Military Justice Chief @ Quantico) is locking everything on. It's still a bit up in the air, but it looks like he'll be flying back to OK tomorrow afternoon and spending tonight in a hotel, not the brig.

Merry Christmas,
~Russ

Maigen,
I just spoke to Jim - Gen Mills has suspended the rest of his sentence, meaning he is going to be released from the brig today. BUT - he needs to get a hold of Maj Royce to get his travel back to OK locked on. Call me ASAP on my cell.

~Russ

Russ,

Major Royce emailed this morning to confirm Jim's sea bag was shipped overnight to Quantico yesterday. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do.

If you speak to Jim today, please tell him that I love him beyond measure.

Thanks,
Maigen

He's currently in "Indoctrination Status" which means until he passes the test on the brig rules/regs, he's stuck in his cell. Once he passes indoc, then he'll have better liberties (recreation call, library, etc).

Thanks, Russ. I think I have everything except for 2 pair of PT shorts and shower shoes. I will hold off on the books for now. What does it mean that his status will change tomorrow?

Green undershirts are the USMC PT shirts. Field jacket is the Goretex parka/jacket. He will have to purchase anything that you can't pack. I don't have an answer yet on the books. I'll get that to you soonest.

Sorry, Russ. More questions. I don't know what PT shirts are. I have the undershirts, but I have never seen Jim wear any PT shirts except for the green undershirt. I also don't know what a field jacket is. I'm assuming that he will have to purchase anything I can't send (no shower shoes, etc.).

Russ - Can I send books in the sea bag to Jim? When I talked to him this morning, the Gunny said that I could send him paper/pen/envelopes to send letters, but I forgot to ask about books. Let me know if I can send him reading material. Thanks!

	                             Good morning Sir,

I have attached a gear list with the items that Chesapeake requires for confines at their facility. Please see the second page of the attachment as is reflects the Marine Corps gear items. Due to Capt Rowe's sentence ending in January, he will not need the Desert cammies. If you have any questions Sir, please email or call and I will accommodate as soon as possible.

Thank you Sir and have a great day,
