Hi Mary Jo,
I am attaching the letter I discussed with you regarding the CSSS matter. Ms. Wolford is 100% owner of her company. She has an extensive amount of experience in the IT field and a resume replete with IT accomplishments and certifications. Her resume was forwarded with her last letter. So the claim that they do not have a resume is flat wrong. The pursuit of information about the trust is unwarranted. Ms. Wolford has a revocable trust in the name of her children. The VA has no reason to ask for information about that. The Trust vests upon the death Ms. Wolford. That has no impact on the company during her lifetime. I request that you please:
1. Review the applicable CFR
2. Review the last petition and evidence in support of the petition sent by Ms. Wolford. I will request that from her and forward it to you.
3. Prepare a response and evidence in support of the response that addresses the point raised in the letter. I recommend that you challenge the request for information about the Trust as irrelevant. I will speak to the client about this. I believe that she is willing to provide the information to ensure that her company gets relisted. Every day that the company is not on that list, she loses business. I do not agree that she should provide that information but the decision will be the client’s.
Feel free to call with questions.
