Nice! How about if the president of the court announced the same words? Would we still be calling the identical outcome a "ruling?" Only a lawyer would find a way to "struggle" with this "interesting and novel legal issue." Gotta love mental gymnastics. You just can't fix stupid. It's like the guy who wears his baseball cap backwards and then shades his eyes from the sun with his hand. If only they made an item of apparel that shaded your eyes! I spoke to a buddy of mine in appellate government yesterday, and although he is not the counsel that is working the Burke case, he was aware of it and indicated that it was looking good for us. Essentially, what they were researching is whether or not the judge's decision was a "ruling" or a "finding" (if I'm recalling properly). So, as I suspected, they filed the 72 hr notice to give them time to research whether or not they could actually file an appeal. Unfortunately, I still don't see them letting it go until the 20 days are up. /r Ranae Ranae L. Can a call be made to appellate government to see whether they're still contemplating filing? Or is that considered uncool? I know they had 20 days but it would be nice to know. (Actually more fun than nice, especially if they say they're still considering and/or drafting). BTW, AF Times is on the case. Planning to do a big story around this case on "go pills." Wow, Big Air Force won't like that! V/r, Neal Neal A.
