Sir:

We are not sure which would be more feasible--seems like all of the
mentioned actions, because we hold him accountable--there are a lot more
issues relating to his behavior prior to and after the incident.  I'll
discuss with my husband.  The most important action would be the custody of
our grandchildren.  They are half Navajo (Native American) and old
granddaughter is properly registered and enrolled with a census number with
the Navajo tribe, however, our younger granddaughter has not been
registered, yet.  We can enroll her once we have custody.  I'm not too
familiar with the "Indian Child Welfare Act," but I believe our
granddaughters have a right to be brought up with and in their culture,
whereas, MSG Angulo is not a member of any tribe.

I'll certainly look into the private investigator matter also--thanks for
bringing that up.  Again, my husband can provide you with a copy of the CID
report.  Let us know.

V/r,

Alyce

Alyce,
In order to make proper recommendations, I'd need to know what you really
want from a legal course of action.  Among some possibilities are:
prosecution of your son-in-law, money damages from him and/or custody of
your grandchildren.  Which of these are you seeking, or are you seeking all
of them?  If all of them, which one is most important?
The course of action I'd recommend first is to hire a private investigator
to review the evidence available.  You should look for someone in the
Columbus, GA, area.  The results of the investigation may be sufficient to
convince a prosecutor to prosecute or an attorney to pursue a wrongful death
lawsuit.

Good afternoon, Sir:

We, parents of our recent deceased daughter, would like to consult with you
regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of our daughter.  She was
found by her husband in their on-post quarters, as he alleges.  Please
advise.

Thank you, Sir.

Respectfully,
