They are half Navajo (Native American) and old granddaughter is properly registered and enrolled with a census number with the Navajo tribe, however, our younger granddaughter has not been registered, yet. We can enroll her once we have custody. I'm not too familiar with the "Indian Child Welfare Act," but I believe our granddaughters have a right to be brought up with and in their culture, whereas, MSG Angulo is not a member of any tribe. Among some possibilities are: prosecution of your son-in-law, money damages from him and/or custody of your grandchildren. Which of these are you seeking, or are you seeking all of them? If all of them, which one is most important? The course of action I'd recommend first is to hire a private investigator to review the evidence available. You should look for someone in the Columbus, GA, area. The results of the investigation may be sufficient to convince a prosecutor to prosecute or an attorney to pursue a wrongful death lawsuit.
