from Dr. Ned’s trip in connection with the LIBC § Met
with Central Bankers and Journalists § Spoke
with Elis Saab in regards to holding a fashion show in Detroit (MGM). He may be
interested in working with a nonprofit on such an event. We need to submit a
proposal to him. § Possible
Gala Keynote for 2011- Dr. Mohamed Jawad Khelifa, Minister of Public Health in
Lebanon. § Made
in Lebanon exhibition will be held in Spring or October 2012. We need to work
out some of the details. ·
Need a company to organize the event ·
Nabil an event’s coordinator overseas is
an option. He is organizing made in Lebanon Paris this year. Dr. Ned is
communicating with him. Ø All
attending members were invited to attend LIBC/LTU Nonprofit Governance and
Marketing Workshop Saturday, April 9th, 2011. § Marketing
and promoting for the event have been strong. Some of which include Arab
Detroit e- News/e- blast, ACCESS news letter, Michigan Non-profit Association,
Lawrence Tech E-blasts, facebook and our contacts/members, as well contacting
(both email and calling) local organizations. Ø Computer
Center Event § The official site of the center is
Beït Mellat, in Aakkâr, Lebanon
§ Mayor agreed and has given us space
for the computer center
§ It is located in central Akkar-
convenient for all surrounding cities to visit.

needed to complete the site (will take care of all the design and technical
portions of the site)
