[mailto:haytham@puckettfaraj.com] I would be happy to serve until
the elections. I have attached a resume. I will remit my fees at the next
meeting. Statement of purpose I have extensive leadership
experience as a military officer in the combat arms field and as a staff
officer. I have led units ranging in size from 13 to 185 people as a
combat arms officer. As a leader and commander I was responsible for
directing a staff, establishing long term training plans and budgets extending
2-3 years ahead and deriving intermediate goals to effectuate the unit’s long
term objectives. Among the many responsibilities a commander is tasked
with is creating and maintaining logistical plans, communications plans,
training plans, Operations plans and emergency response plans for a variety of
contingencies. While in the military I was one of five officers selected
to receive a scholarship to attend law school in 2002. Following law
school I was assigned as the Senior Defense Counsel in the busiest litigation
office in the Department of Defense, responsible for a staff of seven attorneys
and many supporting personnel. Following my career in the military I
started a law firm that has grown from two lawyers to a total of six lawyers
and three full time employees in under three years. We have managed to
expand our practice areas from one focused on military law to numerous practice
areas including federal employment law, federal criminal law, international
business transactions, commercial transactions, national defense law, and
administrative law. We have grown our revenue over 800% since I started
the firm. As the Vice President of the
LIBC, I will bring the same leadership and organizational skills that I have
applied in my professional life to the LIBC. My objective in the first
year to is to establish policy and process, organize the structure and
establish growth goals that will seek to effectuate our organizational
objectives. Best regards Haytham N.B. The information contained
