Re: the LISI letter

Thanks again brother!  will arrange something nice with LISI and a few other special Marine vets in NYC sometime after this saga ends for you to meet and enjoy camaraderie with...they are a great group of men!  Appreciate your other comment as well..makes me more settled now.  Ugh what an emo-roller coaster!

Christian...await your input and also guidance as to me sending you the all the letters (you had mentioned a binder when we spoke last week)
...but noticed you simply sent MINER the other docs via email...so not sure what you want me to do..so will stand by for that guidance.

Thanks again, gentlemen.  S/F!  R/ Pietro

Joe Lisiâs letter is excellent.  I hope Iâll have an opportunity to meet him one day.  He is a great friend to you.

Donâtâ worry about any of this derailing the NJP.   The only way it can be derailed is through you and frankly I donât care if it does.  As I told you before.  They may not accept it anyway because they donât want to hear the truth.  That said, I think an NJP is a good hedge.

Subject: the LISI letter

Gentlemen, attached is the letter Joe LISI composed on my behalf.  I ask you to review it b/c I am now always concerned about any specifics of the charges that may be included in any letter presented to the CG...that it does not compromise its credibility (giving an impression that I influenced the respective author(s) with my version of the events/facts, etc)...and that it does not have a reverse affect on the SJA/CG, like you have both described to me (WRT my own personal statement, which I near done revising accordingly).  If I understood both of you correctly WRT the KNOBEL letter, it good to go, (with the two sentences deleted)...in other words, unlikely to drive the CG to resend it to a GCM (b/c it does not weaken the guilty pleas, etc)...correct?  BECK and HUMBERTSON's letter are written in the same light/manner as KNOBELs...so I'd like to send them to you later when I get them to double check you are both comfortable with them and their potential affect (or not) on the CG (and SJA).  As always I appreciate y'alls time and advise/assitance.  S/F!

Pietro
