Almost as an important story as Colby withdrawing:

[mailto:haytham@puckettfaraj.com] Mark, I
have been thinking about a number of possible options in the event Jones denies
our motion on Monday. In light of the Government’s bullshit
response to my request for production of documents related to Sullivan’s
extensions on active duty to prosecute the case, and their production of
documents related almost exclusively to me and Colby, I have decided that if
they want to play games then I’ll play but by my rules. I
intend to tell the court that I will no longer try the case without some
remedy. At the same time, I want to file a writ of mandamus to force
Jones to follow the law in Hutchins and its progeny. Can you assist?
I can help draft but I am swamped. I am hoping that we can collaborate.
I want to file it in DC District Court. I am also trying to think of a
way to sue the Department of the Navy as well. Not sure how to style the
cause of action yet but it has to do with a denial of Wuterich’s
constitutional right to counsel. If you have any available time tomorrow
afternoon, we will be having a team meeting at 1:00 pm PST. You
sounded good on NPR today. Well done!! Haytham
