Sgt Jose Brito ICO MPO for Marine Aaron Shipley Capt Sparks, I would like for my client Sgt Brito to be able to contact a Marine he recruited by the name of LCpl Aaron Shipley for the purposes of seeing if LCpl Shipley would be willing and able to testify as a good military character witness for Sgt Brito. The mother of this Marine has already agreed to be a character witness for Sgt Brito. Obviously, I can call the Marine myself, but for matters such as this I find it is much more credible when the accused himself contacts his character references and asks them himself if they would be willing to testify as to his good military character. I'm informed that Shipley is not a fact witness in this case and I don't believe he has any personal knowledge about the charges Sgt Brito his charged with.
